GAP-PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY

• Time and unchecked humidity causes gaps between floor boards.

• On stained lighter woods; Oak, Yellow Birch, Maple even fine gaps will show unattractive lighter areas between boards.

• By staining the surface, sides and ends of each board, Gap Protection eliminates unattractive effects. (See Video)

AQUA PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY

• Excess moisture from spills, leaks and uncontrolled job site conditions causes hardwood to expand, cup or buckle.

• Specially formulated sealants are applied to the entire contour of every piece of Silhouette Flooring; therefore Aqua Protection slows down absorption of moisture affording more time to remedy potentially bigger problems. (See Video)

GERM-PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY

• Wood left unprotected becomes an inviting breeding ground for mold, mildew and bacteria.

• Recommended floor cleaners keep the surface of flooring clean and healthy.

• However, by applying an antimicrobial agent to the other 5 sides, Germ Protection greatly reduces the propagation of mold, mildew and bacteria. (See Video)

STAIN-PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY

• Tough stains, such as indelible marker and iodine, can mark your floors permanently.

• By applying exclusive Stain Protection repellent into the topcoat, even tough stains like indelible marker and iodine can be wiped off with a paper towel. (See Video)

WEAR PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY

• Hardwood flooring is susceptible to scratching, especially with families and large pets.

• Through the use of nanotechnology, Wear Protection keeps hardwood flooring durable and delivers a clear furniture-like appearance to help beautify the wood.
